Thanksgiving Leaf Wreath Coloring Page Project

Thanksgiving Leaf Wreath
It’s time for another fun project to create using some of your previously colored coloring pages! This week, we’re kicking off Thanksgiving with a leaf wreath.  (you can also do a Christmas wreath with the same templates, just pick out coloring pages with jewel tone designs.)

First, you’ll need to download your free leaf template:

If you’re looking for some of the supplies I used on some of my coloring projects, you can buy them here on Amazon:

There are 4 different designs/sizes for you to choose from. You can use one, or all to create your wreath.

I cut out my chosen leaves, and then turned my completed coloring pages over and traced a bunch of the leaves on the back.  Then cut them all out. I used about 5 colored pages, and had plenty of leaves left over. How many pages you use will depend entirely upon how big you want your wreath.

Once that was done, I used glitter glue to jazz up the edges of each leaf.

To make the wreath base, I cut a circle out of a disposable plate.  It doesn’t have to be perfect as it will be completely covered by leaves.  If you want to make a larger wreath, you can use poster board.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find my glue gun, so instead of gluing the leaves onto the plate, I stapled them…I don’t think it turned out too bad at all!

I double layered them, doing one complete circle of overlapped leaves facing upwards, and one complete circle of overlapped leaves facing downwards. The finished product actually fits quite well under my vase and will make a charming centerpiece for Thanksgiving. Alternately, you could attach a string and hang it.
